Mori-soba and Katsu-don lunch set もりそば カツ丼定食

‘Don’ is one of the Japanese dish style and ‘Don’ means rice served in a bowl. ‘Tonkatsu’ means a pork cutlet. So ‘Katsu-Don’ means ‘Tonkatsu’ on rice served in a bowl.

‘Mori-Soba’ is a plain Japanese noodle. You dip ‘Soba’ in the soup and eat it.

If you want to add some topping with the ‘Soba’, we call another ‘Soba’ name. For instance, if you add ‘Tenpura’ on the ‘Soba’, you can say it as ‘Tenpura-Soba’.
